Our therapists and teachers travel across Boulder and Broomfield Counties to provide in-home services for children and families. You may also find our team in neighborhood parks, at daycare, in children's museums, or even at a local grocery store. We provide services where families live, learn, and play.
Play has a vital role in promoting all areas of development. Everyday routines and activities provide children with endless learning opportunities. Much of children's learning occurs as they touch, move, manipulate, experiment, and talk about things. For this reason, our therapists use a play-based approach that promotes development, as well as encourages the child's participation.
We believe that the family is the child's first teacher and we want to support the family's integral role in teaching their child. During sessions, our therapists and teachers will coach parents, answer questions, and provide written strategies and ideas for the family. Additionally, Dayspring offers parent and professional workshops on topics such as sensory processing, the value of play, facilitating language, and feeding and eating concerns.
